Modern architecture is the main contributor of amazing buildings in the world today. All the top amazing buildings in the today’s modern society share a number of features in common; some of these characteristics include ambitious designs, new different styles, quirky shapes and new materials.

We’re sure you have got used to the usual opera houses and the traditional futuristic museums. Let us have a look at these world’s amazing buildings that top the list.

1)      Dancing Building

This building is located in the downtown of Prague city in Czech Republic and its actual name is Nationale-Nederlanden Building.

This incredible architecture was designed through collaboration between architect Vlado from Czech and Frank Gehry from Canada and the year 1996 marked the completion of the building. The main motive behind the construction this building was to replace another building that was destroyed through bombing of Prague city in 1945.

2)      Cubic Houses

These buildings are found in Rotterdam, Netherlands. These houses are quite amazing because they are built on top of a pedestrian bridge. Just imagine such a concept!

The idea originated from Piet Blom back in the 1970s.

3)     The Crooked House

The building is found in Sopot, Poland and we’re sure you will not believe it if I tell you that this building was started and completed in the same year, that is 2003.

The design of this house was based on the works of Jan Marcin – he was a polish child books illustrator and an artist at the same time and Per Dahlberg – he was an expert in Swedish paintings and painter pictures.

4)      Guggenheim Museum

The building can be found in Bilbao, Spain.

The art of this building was designed by Frank Gehry, both an American and Canadian architect and it is worth noting that the architects adopted a random design of the ship and this fact helped the building to catch the light.

5)      Ripley’s building

The building is located in Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada.

Did you know what this building is known for? It is famous for the collection of ancient artifacts and other odd things that are quite unbelievable.

6)      The Ufo House

The location is Sanjhih, Taiwan. The design of the building is quite strange and futuristic.

7)      Forest Spiral Hundertwasser

Find this amazing building in Darmstadt, Germany.

Can you guess when the building was built? Its now close to 14 years ago. We’re talking of the year 2000. In this building, you will find 105 apartments with a pretty organic and colorful design.

It was designed by F. Hundertwasser, an Australian painter and architect.

8)      Lotus Temple

This building is also known as Baha’i House of Worship and it’s one of the most symbolic signs of India.

It is found in Delhi and the construction ended in 1986. The house is open to people across all religions.

9)      Ferdinand Cheval Palace

The building is commonly known as Ideal Palace. It is found in France.

The postman who built this palace aimed at using it to serve as his own tomb. However, he could not obtain a license for that matter.

All in all the Palace has now gained global recognition.

10)  Kansas City Public Library

The building is found in Missouri, United States.

The library is designed in the shape of books. Impeccable sources have it that this is not the actual library but just the parking garage. Isn’t this awesome?
